We're out...

Today we are headed to one of our favorite places for a week's worth of fishing, blobbing, archery-ing, mission impossible-ing, awesome costume wearing, bible studying, dancing, kid hanging (meaning we are hanging out with kids...not actually hanging them..didn't know how to end with an -ing.) horseback riding, smash ball-ing, sno cone eating, swimming, and tribal competing fun!

I am really looking forward to it but I am also logical about it. With this being summer #5 of camp for me, I am aware of the pointless late night meetings, sweating, terrible food, and non-stop exercise that camp is. Brad, who is happy-go-lucky about 24/7, is over-the-moon pumped about this week at camp. He claims that camp is his #1 favorite place on earth. I really need to get him out more.

Either way, camp is a special place for us. Brad & I met each other and 12 of the people in our wedding party at camp. I wish everyone could experience the friendships and bonds that are built when you spend an entire summer serving together at a secluded little camp. We are so thankful that God sent us there and (even if it is just for a week) continues to send us back.

Here are some pictures of our years at camp:

My first cabin. These girls are in their teens now.

My sweet Molly! She was in my cabin 3 summers in a row.

Let the rivalry begin!
Glad Brad got that hair chopped.

Yes, her face does say "I (heart) Nikki"
When I say "awesome costume wearing," this is what I mean.

Little Ingrid schooling Brad.

Good times, seriously.

All 7 of you readers, please pray for Brad & I this week!
